Building upon the successful execution of previous inspection projects starting from 2019, this extensive new contract highlights our capability to provide top-tier Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and inspection services at an international level, with operations seamlessly integrated across key sites in France, Germany and Spain.
Final Assembly Line and manufacturing NDT support from France
Our dedicated team in Paris performs critical composite parts inspect
ions such as composite blade with:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Radiographic Testing (RT)
- Computed Tomography (CT)
- Infrared Thermography Testing (IRT)
Operations in Marignane cover both critical NDT work on Final Assembly Lines (FAL) and helicopters critical parts manufacturing & maintenance, including:
- Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
- Penetrant Testing (PT)
- Eddy Current Testing (ET)
- Immersion UT for critical transmission tube component
Advanced composite structures inspections in Germany
At our operations in Friedberg, our team inspects high-performance carbon fiber composite structures for several helicopter types, including the Airbus H135, H145, H160 and NH90.
This encompasses Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) on 2,000 to 3,000 structural components annually across all four helicopter programs, such as:
- Cockpits and cabin sections
- Tail and aft structures
- Internal frames and cabin roofs
At our facility on the Airbus site in Ottobrunn, the scope of work focuses exclusively on advanced Computed Tomography (CT) inspection services.
Ensuring precise evaluations and reliable inspection results in accordance with the rigorous standards of the aerospace industry, our qualified team conducts specialized inspections on:
- Latch Shaft
- Drive Shaft
Manufacturing, MRO Support, and Level 3 Technical Expertise in Spain
Testia supports the Albacete plant on various operations:
- Manufacturing: supporting the Final Assembly Line (FAL) across all helicopter programs – including the Airbus NH90, H125, H135 and H145 – using Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Eddy current Testing (ET).
- Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO): supporting the shopfloor and working party bases utilizing Ultrasonic Testing (UT), Eddy current Testing (ET), Penetrant Testing (PT) and Magnetic Testing (MT)
- Level 3 UT technical services
