Testia Rennes expands operational capacity with move to new facility in Cesson-Sévigné

RENNES, France – Testia has relocated its Rennes branch (formerly Edixia Automation) to a new, state-of-the-art facility in Cesson-Sévigné, near Rennes. The move strengthens the company’s operational capacity and customer support capabilities for automated inspection and manufacturing projects.

New facility east of Rennes enables scaled-up production

Situated in the Chêne Morand business park east of Rennes, the new 700 m² single-level site integrates modern office spaces, R&D testing areas, and an expanded workshop of over 300 m². Replacing the previous location in Vern-sur-Seiche, the upgraded facility is designed to accommodate larger equipment, streamline workflows, and scale up production. Located just inside the Rennes ring road (Rocade), the site ensures easy accessibility for employees, clients, and suppliers, while streamlining logistics for outbound deliveries.

Customers benefit from expanded production capacity and shorter lead times

The move comes with increased service capabilities for Testia’s customers. The enlarged workshop allows the team to build and test complete production line segments and larger robotic inspection setups concurrently. This significantly increases delivery capacity and reduces lead times for upcoming customer projects.

“Our new facility is tailored to meet the growing demand for complex automated inspection systems,” says Bruno Juhel, Head of Site at Testia Rennes. “The single-level layout and expanded workshop space allow us to work more efficiently, handle larger machinery, and deliver up to eight integrated systems concurrently. Ultimately, this enables us to respond faster to customer inquiries, streamline project execution, and deliver on our strong commitment to quality for our clients’ projects.”

Modernized facilities promote sustainability and team collaboration

In addition to operational advantages, the facility aligns with Testia’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Built to high environmental standards, the building features eco-friendly materials, photovoltaic panels, and a modern workspace design for the site’s 23 specialists, with room to accommodate future team growth.

Clients and partners are invited to visit the new Rennes facility for on-site workshop tours or arrange virtual project discussions with Testia’s experts.
