Every year, ‘tis the season for the periodic calibration of probe heads. Since November 2020, Testia Germany in Bremen offers this service for Ultrasonic probes: Both single element as well as phased array – according to methods AITM6-0013 Method 2 und AITM6-0016 Method 2.
Testia already has many years of experience in calibration of UT probes and inspection tools at its subsidiary in France, both for aerospace and other industries. Now we extend this service to the German market.
For the calibration process, we also make use of our self-developed NDT scanner SmartScan. Next year, we plan to further enhance this service with a mobile version of the scanner – making calibration of UT probes directly on site at the customer’s as quick and easy as never before.
