NDT LEVEL 2 TECHNICIAN – QUEBEC (F/M)

TESTIA, an Airbus company, is specialized in aerospace Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) since 1991. We train, certify, audit and advise NDT technicians of the aerospace industry and beyond. We also test manufacturing or in-service parts as well as aircraft fluids. With a strong engineering background, we develop standard and customized NDT tools for our customers.

Context of the mission:

For a mission for one of its customer, TESTIA is looking for a NDT technician Level 2 EN4179/NAS410 in UT, PT and ideally ET.

Missions & Objectives:

Your main missions will consist in:

– Carrying out non destructive tests on aircrafts or components from aircrafts in Final Assembly Line or at manufacturing stage
– Implementing the technique, carrying out the adjustments and calibration of the device and applying inspection procedures, according to one’s certifications
– Writing down technical instructions for the implementation of the requested test to be validated by the Level 3
– Writing down inspections reports including results, sanctions and certifying the component’s conformity as per specified acceptation criteria
– If need be, writing down delivery documents.
– Participating in the development of feasibility studies by leading non destructives tests on new materials, procedures, assemblies, structures… etc. and determining the most suitable methods
– Contributing to the development of NDT solutions dedicated to specific needs, followed by their adjustment, qualification and promotion
– Conducting the follow up of customers’ requirements as per stated in internal quality procedures to carry out the operation
– Maintaining obtained skills and certifications and acquiring new ones.

Required skills:

Degree in physics or equivalent
Good knowledge of aircraft structures and materials
EN4179/NAS410 Ultrasonic, Dye Penetrant level 2 certifications at least. Eddy Current level 2 is a plus.
Good level of English
You shall be energetic, flexible, organized, rigorous and autonomous, as well as being a people-person with good writing skills

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE COORDINATOR (F/M) – MATERNITY COVER

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Monday 26th October 

Opportunity for an accounts receivable coordinator to join an established company who are part of a global group of companies, the largest in their sector within Europe (2nd globally). The role is a fixed-term contract and would give the successful applicant around 15 months of secure employment (starting in December 2020) to perform maternity cover inclusive of a handover period at the start and end of the contract.

The role will involve undertaking all accounts receivable duties having sole responsibility for the function and completing reports for the senior management team. You will also be undertaking other more general finance administration tasks such as raising purchase orders and quotations and order confirmations.

Accounts receivable coordinator duties will include:

  • Providing support to departments by responding to enquiries, raising quotations, purchase orders and order confirmations
  • Dealing with queries from employees, customers and senior management
  • Updating databases with new customer orders, sales invoices and other required information
  • Creating and sending customer invoices
  • Sending monthly customer statements
  • Chasing customers to supply remittance advice
  • Clearing of suspense account by allocation of customer receipts to respective customer accounts
  • Creating and distributing monthly reports as and when required

To apply for the accounts receivable coordinator position, you will need:

  • Previous experience of working in an accounts receivable function
  • Experience of working with Sage
  • A formal finance/accounting qualification (AAT, etc.) or a degree-level qualification are desirable
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

In return, the accounts receivable coordinator will receive a salary of circa £25,000 (dependent on experience) + pension, 25 days holiday, contract completion bonus (payable upon successful and correct delivery of all tasks and completion of the contract term), etc.

DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER HIGH FREQUENCY EQUIPMENT/SIGNAL PROCESSING (F/M)

To support our team in Munich, we are looking for a Development Engineer (f/m) in the field of high frequency engineering and signal processing as of now. In our team, you will support the development of a new sensor product which uses high frequency technology to monitor manufacturing processes for composite parts.

Your tasks:

– Design and assembly of circuit boards for HF sensor applications
– Programming of hardware interfaces in ML and/or C
– Implementation of signal processing algorithms in Python
– Evaluation and optimization of sensor components
– Experimental testing of sensors in lab and industrial environment
