In its ongoing commitment to excellence and reliability, Testia is proud to announce the successful renewal and expansion of its EN 9100 and ISO 9001 certifications by Dekra. These milestones reflect the expansion of our quality network to our teams in France and the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
ISO 9001 now expanded to our office in Rennes (France)
The ISO 9001 certification is the global benchmark for Quality Management Systems (QMS). It focuses on ensuring that organizations consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements while enhancing satisfaction through continuous improvement.
With this latest renewal, we have officially extended the scope of our ISO 9001 certification to include our office in Rennes (France) – previously known as Edixia Automation. This integration ensures that our specialized aerospace services in the region are governed by the same rigorous quality protocols that define the rest of the Testia group for the below:
- NDT training & qualification
- Certification services, NDT level 3 consulting and audits
- Manufacturing inspection and in-service inspection
- Materials and processes engineering and testing services
- Automation products, software and equipment development, manufacturing and assembly
EN 9100 now extended to our APAC entity
For the aerospace industry, the EN 9100 (equivalent to AS9100 in America and JISQ 9100 in Asia) is the essential standard for quality and safety. It builds upon ISO 9001 by adding specific requirements for aviation, space and defense organizations to ensure the highest levels of reliability.
A major highlight of this year’s renewal is the integration of our APAC entity into our EN 9100 scope. This expansion specifically covers our Periodic Verification (VP) capabilities for NDT equipment.
By including our calibration laboratory recently launched in Malaysia (in collaboration with Composites Technology Research Malaysia) under this aerospace-specific certification, we can now offer the same certified level of equipment calibration and verification as our European sites to local customers in Asia-Pacific – reducing lead time & logistic costs.
